GPSS with a GPS in these islands.
190 maps and 41 sounds covering all of Argentina, with more detail
near to Buenos Aires. This data is for Robin's friends in Argentina
and anyone using GPS here. A demonstration is in ARGENTIN.NME.
ARGENTIN.EXE holds the important files, and detail in the middle
of Argentina. ARGENTI2.EXE and ARGENTI3.EXE provide the remainder.

between Trinidad and Costa Rico, with a little more detail
on Barbados. BARBADOS.GTX holds locations, accurate to one mile,
of 420 villages in Barbados, and may be copied to $LPOP.GTX.

floppy disk, the data is split into two self-extracting files. The more detailed Santiago map has not yet been fully calibrated.
These 9 maps and 17 sounds cover all Costa Rica. They are for Doug Van Gausig,
his friends, and anyone else here with GPS. A demonstration is in COSTARIC.NME
and the approximate locations (to within a mile) of 2975 towns and villages in COSTARIC.GTX - suitable to copy to GPSS.GTX and/or $LPOP.GTX. Take care Doug !
These 10 maps covering all Haiti and the Dominican Republic are for use
by Carlos Cintron and any other lucky people on this sunny island. 15 sounds
support verbal description of position relative to major towns. Take care Carlos !

This data was uploaded in March 2010 after Robin was contacted by Julian,
working for Médecins Sans Frontières in Haiti following the earthquake.
This data should be added after that in the DOMINICA.EXE download.
The HAITI.EXE data replaces the DOMINICA.WAW file to extend verbal
description of position relative to 15 towns in Haiti. More detailed
maps are included for the Port-au-Prince and nearby Petion-Ville.
HAITI.GTX holds the approximate position of all the small villages in Haiti
and may be used to replace $LPOP.GTX to support search for Population Centre
under the P Hotkey.
These Maps and Sounds for Ecuador are for use by Ivan Porras, and anyone
else in that country. One map covers the whole country and the borders with
Colombia and Peru, and more detailed maps cover the highly populated areas
on the coast and inland to Quito. Sounds are included for major towns to
support verbal description of position. A playback file ECUADOR.NME is
included for testing without a GPS receiver.

These overlapping 4 maps and 5 sounds of the Falklands are for Bob and Janet Mcleod
who visited our stand at The London Motor Show. You may need to adjust the lat/lon
locations of the places in FALKLAND.WAW since the base mapping was pretty crude
- but it should be good enough to get you started. Drive carefully and mind the penguins !

map covers all Guatemala and borders with Mexico, Belize and El Salvador. 9 other maps provide more detail over the whole country, with sounds for major towns.

Here is some more detailed data for you, Max, and anyone in Guatemala City.
After downloading GUATEMAL.EXE above, you can download GUATE250.EXE
which provides a more detailed 1:250,000 map of the Guatemala City region,
and a street plan 1:15,000 map near the Railway Station in Zona 9. Sounds
are included, when on this map, for description of position relative to the Railway
Station and Hospital. MAX1.NME provides a filtered version of NEWTRIP.NME
with only $GPRMC sentences. This makes it smaller to email. The little QBASIC
program used for this filtering is in RMCONLY.BAS if you want to use it.
I believe the Zona 9 street map is calibrated correctly, but note that GPS errors
of up to 100m are large at this scale. The yellow circles plotted are 50m radius.

of 8007 villages, searched with P key.
These 35 maps and 35 sounds cover all Paraguay and are for Pablo Sanchez,

to GPSS.GTX and/or $LPOP.GTX and holds approximate locations
of 2563 towns and villages (but only accurate to about 2 km).

These maps and sounds are for Renato Ricci, and for any of his fellow
countrymen in Peru. The 28 maps cover the whole country, providing
more detail along the coast and inland from Lima. A more detailed map
is included for Lima City. Sounds support spoken description of position
relative to major towns, and ladmarks within Lima such as the airport,
railway station, and University. Drive with care Renato !
These 3 maps and 25 sounds are for Richard Olsen, his friends, and anyone
else with a GPS. The locations of 220 places are in PUERTORI.GTX which may
be copied to GPSS.GTX and/or $LPOP.GTX. These places are also used in
the WAW file used to describe your GPS position by voice. The larger places
have their names spoken, whereas the small villages are just spoken as "population centre". However, the names are displayed in the spoken message, togther
with the census numbers of inhabitants.
