These pictures below, are typical of those to be found on my www.gpss.co.uk pages, and I will be very happy for you to use them. Please make contact with me by email first, so I know what you need, and can confirm you are using material that is not of poor quality or misleading. Many of these pictures can be made simply by "screen-grabs" off the www.gpss.co.uk pages. Some of those below are only for illustration, and are already out of date. But the pages of the site are not. I can provide my own photos and video "rushes" that were used for the videos on this site. My full contact details, including email address are on under the "Contact" link above. Like those on the boat :-) I'm often happy to meet you at my home in Sunninghill, and/or rendesvouz, taking one or two of Snoopy's boats, at Bray Lake Watersports, near Maidenhead: a more photogenic location. Snoopy often likes to "show off", including having races with others. Play the July 2014 video of Snoopy's Robot Boat Race to see how well Snoopy's 2014 boat 10 did against the smaller experimental boat 6 :-)
Snoopy's Launch Team at Boscombe, after arriving at the Zig-Zag steps, west of the Pier, and getting Snoopy ready. From left to right, Dick, Snoopy, Roy, and Robin.
Robin Lovelock, Snoopy's boat builder, Jack-of-all-trades, "retired NATO scientist", and over-worked husband, waits for 1100 Zulu before the launch, on 18th March 2015.
Dick Bailey, Snoopy's "minder", water-based camerman, and three time "rescuer" from Isle of White and Portland "Crash Landings". All round Adventurer and Nutter.
Snoopy's Launch Team for the previous November 2014 attempt, relaxing on Boscombe Pier. From left to right: Dick, Robin, Peter, and long-suffering June.
John Sylvester, TV "Robot Wars" veteran, Team-Joker.com Founder Member, got Robin started, gives advice, consumes coffee,
has boat Elfin, but has to work for a living :-)
Here is John in Robin's back garden, checking out Snoopy's next Boat11, for late 2015, or 2016.
Note the expensive navigation lights under test behind John. June's pool on right.
Bray Lake Watersports, near Maidenhead, where Snoopy has done all his testing, since Robin started in 2008. Before that, he was testing GPS Bottles here :-)
"The Bray Lake Test" that Snoopy must navigate well, before he progresses to 25/7 reliability testing, sailing for weeks in "Snoopy Corner", in all weather conditions.
That's Robin, on the left, sat on the bank of Snoopy Corner, watching Snoopy Sloop 10 on 24/7 test (right), filmed by experimental Boat 6.
Below is an early frame, from the Mobius video camera. Here, Snoopy returns to Base, near the drain and Robin, Snoopy's chauffer :-)
I should have had a new visiting card printed: my wife said I retired over 10 years ago :-)
Je aurais eu une nouvelle carte de visite imprimée: ma femme dit que je retraite il ya plus de 10 ans :-)
