Work in Progress

Anukrom has done all the hard work, and re-recorded 127 WAV sounds which are now available in THAITRAN.EXE below.

At some future date, we hope to translate other files including GPSS.HLP, INSTRUPA.BMP, GHELP.BMP and TRANSLAT.TXT.

How to test GPSS speaking Thai

The simple way to test GPSS speaking Thai is as follows:

  1. create a directory c:\thai
  2. download thaitran.EXE into c\thai
  3. run thaitran.EXE to extract the files.
  4. edit LANGUAGE.CFG in c:\gpss04
  5. run GPSS.EXE
LANGUAGE.CFG in c:\gpss04 will make GPSS.EXE in \gpss04 use c:\Thai.
